The first of its kind globally, GuavaLabs marks the healthy-living app’s very first physical presence, bringing its curated range of premium fitness classes into a single space in the heart of the city. GuavaPass, in partnership with Mandarin Gallery, is set to open GuavaLabs, a 2,000-square-foot hybrid boutique fitness studio and event space this July.

Recently acquired for $650 million by China's Dalian Wanda Group, the Ironman Triathlon is making its waves once again in the tropical island of Bintan, just an hour's ferry away from Singapore. With marathons and "typical running events" becoming passe in Singapore, more people are looking to explore new grounds, new boundaries and ultimately, a new self. Many Singaporean men would have served National Service (NS) as Specialists (Non-Commissioned Officers). They are adept at force preparation, training and discipline. Local fitness event - Absolute Fitness Throwdown (AFT) Singapore 2015 brought plenty of fitness junkies and sporty athletes to Kovan Hub on 14th June and it appeared that the battle of wits between the competitors were close. The multi-fitness event co-organized by Abvolution, Community Sports Club (CSC) and Crossfit Hub was a first of its kind held for the masses to promote a competitive yet fun environment for such fitness activities.
